THERE IS HELP AND HOPE
Our Vision:
We are a group of concerned Christians who have come together to form an independent team, with the aim of marching down the streets to spread awareness and support.
First and foremost, we want to let survivors know that there are Christians in the community who love and care for them, and who are here to support them in any way they need. We hope to encourage survivors to share their stories and seek help.
Secondly, we aim to raise awareness about sexual assault in Lake Nona, Florida, and provide resources for those who have fallen victim. Thank you for scanning our QR code. We are committed to offering immediate help.
Our goal is to encourage and empower survivors of sexual and domestic violence by participating in a march down Narcoossee Road in the Lake Nona neighborhood of Orlando, Florida.” The purpose of us marching down the streets is to raise awareness and show support for all survivors.”
Secondly, we aim to alert our neighborhood to the very real threats sexual and domestic violence still present to our community and to assist those affected by guiding them to resources where they can find immediate, effective help.”

Harbor House
Harbor House of Central Florida is a nonprofit organization and the only state-certified domestic violence agency serving men, women, children, and pets in Orange County, FL. The organization was established in 1976 by late founder Barbara Moore as Spouse Abuse, Inc and was renamed Harbor House of Central Florida in 2008.
Barbara Moore was one of the earliest advocates for survivors of domestic violence and defied social norms to create the organization during a time when people, especially women, were discouraged from speaking out about domestic violence and spousal abuse.
The organization, which began as a domestic violence shelter in a single-family home with a crisis hotline, has grown to an organization with nearly 80 employees that touches more than 12,000 lives annually and serves as a national leader in its approach to provide domestic violence programs and services focused on awareness, prevention, and intervention.
The organization provides an array of services and programs including: a 24-Hour Crisis Line, Confidential Emergency Shelter, Support Groups, Court Advocacy, Children’s Services, Primary Prevention, Early Victim Engagement (EVE) and Intimate Violence Enhanced Services Team (InVEST) programs, Child Protection Investigator (CPI) program, Economic Justice, Paws for Peace Kennel, and Legal Assistance.
